Cabinet reshuffling triggers intra-party rift in CPN (US) | Ratopati

KATHMANDU, June 24: The party’s decision to recall its ministers from the government and sending a new set of ministers has triggered an intra-party rift in the CPN (Unified Socialist).

Challenging the party’s decision, as many as 10 lawmakers of the party drew the attention of Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, maintaining that the Cabinet could not be reshuffled.

The lawmakers have maintained that Cabinet cannot be reshuffled at the time when the budget session is underway.

The lawmakers have also accused the party of treating them as criminals.
