PM Deuba escapes HoR meeting to attend an event of NRNA at Radisson Hotel | Ratopati

KATHMANDU, June 16: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba escaped a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Thursday to attend an event of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).

Escaping the meeting being held for deliberation of the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, PM Deuba attended the event at the Radisson Hotel.

PM Deuba was scheduled to address the HoR meeting on Policies, Program and Budget of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. However, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand had addressed the HoR meeting on the behalf of PM Deuba.

PM Deuba was also sought in the meeting by lawmaker of CPN-UML, Bhim Rawal and lawmaker of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party, Prem Suwal.
