Biplav-led CPN splits

KATHMANDU, April 27: Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’-led Comunist Party of Nepal has split.

Accusing party secretariat members Hemanta Prakash Oli ‘Sudarshan’ and Dharmendra Bastola of taking action against the party's decision, the party on Wednesday released Oli and Bastola from all sorts of responsibilities.

A party secretariat meeting held earlier this morning took a decision to expel both the leaders from the party, reads the press statement issued by the party.

It has been learnt that the expelled leaders will form a new political party soon.
